URBRA held a retirement seminar for CBS PEWOSA members at Masengere Plaza grounds near Bulange House to sensitize them on the importance of saving for retirement, establishment of retirement schemes, how to join the existing licensed schemes and also to understand the mandate of URBRA.

URBRA conducted a Training on Trustees’ Roles in Investment Management of Scheme Funds at Imperial Royale Hotel on 24th October, 2018

URBRA held a pre-retirement seminar on 7th February, 2018 at Imperial Royale, Kampala. This training targeted employees with less than 5 years to retirement and was intended to equip them with skills and knowledge to ably cope with life after active service.

As part of URBRA's Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR) program, URBRA organized a Medical Camp at Kawolo Hospital in Lugazi Municipality, Buikwe District on 7/04/2018. The Medical Camp focused on treatment of Heart related diseases. There was free counselling, health education, blood testing, consultation and free medication given to patients.

URBRA conducted retirement seminars on 19 May 2018 at Hamurwa Town council and on 20 May 2018 at Nyamweru Town council in Rubanda District to sensitize the people about URBRA's activities, the importance of saving for Long term, when and where to start saving.

URBRA conducted a retirement seminar on 17/05/2018 to sensitize the people of Buruli Kingdom in Nakasongola District about URBRA's mandate, functions and the importance of saving for retirement.

URBRA organized a Trustee Training Workshop at Imperial Royale Hotel on 25/04/2018. The training focused on Financial Management in the Retirement Benefits Sector(RBS),General Administration in the RBS, Trustee's roles and recent Sector Developments.

URBRA organized a student's seminar for University students of Actuarial Society at Makerere University on 29th March 2018. This seminar focused to enlighten the students on the Importance of Long Term saving, The role of the Retirement Benefits Sector in the Economic Development and Career prospects in the Retirement Benefits Sector.

URBRA conducted a retirement seminar for Makerere University students on Tuesday 19th February 2019 from 8:00am to 2:00pm at the Main Hall Building. The objective of the seminar was to inform students on the importance of long term savings, the mandate and functions of URBRA, career prospects in the retirement benefits sector, roles of actuaries in the pension sector.
