The Uganda Retirement Benefits Regulatory Authority (URBRA) is mandated by virtue of the URBRA Act 2011, to regulate and supervise the establishment, management, and operation of retirement benefits schemes in Uganda; to protect the interests of members and beneficiaries of all schemes; and to license custodians, trustees, administrators and fund managers of retirement benefits schemes.
The Uganda Retirement Benefits Regulatory Authority has learnt that a company called SENTE (mysente.com) is purporting to be a Fund Manager licensed by URBRA.
The Uganda Retirement Benefits Regulatory Authority hereby informs the general public that SENTE (mysente.com) is not a Fund Manager licensed by URBRA.
URBRA urges the general public to exercise extreme caution before responding to any solicitation offering retirement saving options or financial services. To check whether a retirement benefits scheme, trustees, custodian, administrator or fund manager is licensed by URBRA, or to file a complaint, please check on the URBRA website at www.urbra.go.ug or call 0417304500.
